Refund Policy

At Golden Electronics, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we're here to help. Please read our Refund Policy carefully to understand your options.
1. Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused and in its original condition
- The item is in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a return or may be subject to a restocking fee.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery
- Software, digital downloads, or items with a broken seal
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product listing
- Gift cards
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the damage or fault
We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team at goldenelectronics.com.au/pages/contact-us with your order number and reason for return
- Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions
- Pack the item securely and include your RMA number on the outside of the package
- Ship the item to the address provided by our team
Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as unauthorised returns may not be processed.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Faulty or incorrect items: Return shipping is covered by Golden Electronics
- Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
7. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different model or variant, please contact us. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the replacement item is of a different value, the difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our Refund Policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
